People are always asking what the ingredients in Limu Plus actually are and we frequently hear the question: "I can read the ingredient names in Limu Plus, but what do they mean?" So we’ve accumulated a list along with the descriptions of each of the Limu Plus ingredients. We hope that you find this informative and helpful.

The Proprietary Tongan Limu Moui blend includes:
Limu Moui, Alaria Esculenta, Ulva Lactuca, Fucus Vesiculosis and Laminaria Digitata -- are all types of seaweed used for their Fucoidan, vitamin, enzyme, mineral, amino acid and other nutrient content.
Aloe Vera Gel -- an extract from a broad leaf succulant plant used to support gastrointestinal and circulatory function.
Green Tea -- a leaf tea used as an antioxidant and a catalyst for energy production and fat metabolism. An antioxidant and nutritive support excellent for joint, circulatory and general health and immune function. And a good source of chlorophyll.
Pau d'Arco – this is the same thing as Taheebo Tea (made from bark of a South American tree) used for its soothing and antioxidant properties.
Trace Mineral -- a trace mineral complex assists the body in metabolic processes, electrolytic processes, tissue healing and general health.
The Adaptogen blend includes:
Eleutherococcus -- An adaptogen which is a type of Ginseng (gentler than panax) which serves as an antioxidant and assists with fat metabolism and energy production. It enhances performance and assists with stressors.
Schizandra Chinensis -- An adaptogen which is a vine herb with small red berries and assists the body with the impact of stressors. It is an antioxidant, assists stamina and immune function.
Aralia Manchurica -- An adaptogen from the Manchurian thorn bush. It is a small flowering tree addresses stressors, antioxidant properties, and impacts lipid levels and vein integrity.
Crataegus Oxycanthus -- (hawthorn berries) an antioxidant known for its support of circulatory function.
Glycyrrhiza Uralensis -- An adaptogen which is in the licorice (not root extract) family and impacts stressors, it is an antioxidant, and supports gastrointestinal function, joints and the adrenal system.
Rhaponticum Carthamoids -- An adaptogen which is in the rhubarb family. It is a broad leaf green flowering herb that is an antioxidant, supports the nervous system, immune function and addresses stressors.
Rhodiola Rosea -- An adaptogen which is also called Golden Root, is a flowering herb (called rosea because it smells similar to a rose) with fragrant clusters of yellow flowers. It is supportive of mental functioning, energy production and improved performance. It also has antioxidant properties and impacts stressors and immune function.
Sorbus Aucuparia -- a Russian mountain Ash tree with tiny white flowers and red berries. It is useful as an antioxidant, rich in Vitamin C and supports the integrity of the veins.
Inonotus Obliquus -- a type of mushroom that grows on ash or birch trees and is important in protein biosynthesis and immune function.
Viburnum Sargenti -- a green, leafy shrub with red berries. It provides antioxidant protection.
